Woah. What a year it has been. Like most businesses there was a lull period where we had a chance to actually work on the business and pick up a to-do list item which all too often was bottom priority *sobs*.
Truth is we were debating the idea of a rebrand for quite some time but as it typically happens (when you’re busy working on other awesome brands) we never got chance to get around to it. With the shit storm of 2020 and the extended version in 2021, we decided it was now or never.
We reached out to our newfound pals Thomas Benson and Taiki Monden from SODAA (Studio of Design and Art). After catching up with these two, we hit it off straight away. A love for all things cars, bikes, good food and wine and most of all great design sealed the engagement. A few months later and we’re pretty pleased with the outcome. A fresh face for True Tribe, without forgetting who we are.
The rebrand is an evolution of the company. A more mature and better reflection of who we are since starting the business in 2015. Unapologetic and bold. An identity that communicates confidence in what we do. The hyper blue brings a new energy and tells the world we're well seasoned (please excuse the pun) in mastering a digital presence.
Welcome to the new True Tribe. Kind of like your cool older aunt who hasn’t seemed to have aged over the last two decades, yet comes equipped and ready to lay down a bit of wisdom from years of experience over a glass of buttery chilled chardy.
Special thanks to our incredibly talented friend and artist TJ Guzzardi for featuring in our hype reel and hand painting our signs. We love you Teej <3
